1. About us and these terms
Catalyst Ventures ("Catalyst Ventures", "we", "our" or "us") is operated by CARTER CONSULTING, established in Ireland, of Dublin, Ireland. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at catalyst-ventures.eu and our research services (the "Service"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service
Catalyst Ventures provides biotech-focused investment research and information: company analyses and deep-dive reports, a catalyst calendar, sentiment and news data, AI-assisted briefs, and a simulated (paper-trading) portfolio. The Service is informational only and is subject to the disclaimers in Sections 7–10. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time.
3. Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date. We use Clerk to manage authentication.
4. Subscriptions, pricing & payment
The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers. Current pricing:

Prices are in euro (EUR) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT — the price shown is the total you pay; no separate VAT line is added at checkout. We collect your billing country at checkout, and EU business customers may provide a VAT identification number.
Auto-renewal: paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for each renewal.
We may change prices or tiers; we will give reasonable notice and any change applies from your next billing period, never retroactively.
5. Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel at any time from your account, which opens the Stripe customer portal. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it will not renew. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for the unused part of a billing period except where required by law or at our discretion.
This does not affect your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer, including those set out in Section 6.
6. Your right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)
As an EU/EEA consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for a digital service, under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), implemented in Ireland by the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013.
Immediate access & waiver: our paid tiers give you immediate access to digital content and services. By subscribing and starting to use the paid Service within the 14-day period, you expressly request that we begin performance immediately and you acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully supplied / the content has been accessed, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive. The free tier involves no payment and no withdrawal right arises.
7. Financial Disclaimer
Not Financial Advice: The content on Catalyst Ventures is provided for informational purposes only. Nothing on this website constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or any form of recommendation to buy, sell, or otherwise deal with any investment. Always conduct your own research and consult with a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions.
No Registration: Catalyst Ventures is not registered as an investment adviser with any regulatory authority. We do not provide personalized investment advice or recommendations.
Investment Risk: All investments involve risk, including the possible loss of principal. The biotechnology sector is particularly volatile and may not be suitable for all investors. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
8. AI Content Policy
AI-Assisted Content: Catalyst Ventures uses AI tools, including but not limited to the Gemini and DeepSeek APIs, to assist in content creation and research. This includes:
- Summarizing technical research papers and financial reports
- Generating initial drafts of company analyses
- Processing and analyzing news articles
- Calculating sentiment scores based on public information
Editorial Review: Published deep-dive reports are reviewed editorially before release. Our review process includes:
- Fact-checking against primary sources
- Cross-checking against verified financial and clinical-trial data
- Editorial review for accuracy and clarity
- Removal of any potentially misleading information
No Automated Decisions: Catalyst Ventures does not use AI to make automated investment decisions. All sentiment analyses and company evaluations represent interpretations of publicly available information and should not be the sole basis for any investment decision.
9. Content Accuracy
While we strive to ensure all information on this site is accurate and up-to-date, we make no representations or warranties about the completeness, reliability, and accuracy of this information. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.
Information about biotechnology companies, clinical trials, and regulatory approvals can change rapidly. We encourage users to verify any critical information with primary sources before making decisions based on such information.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: scraping or bulk-extracting content; reselling or redistributing reports without permission; attempting to bypass paywalls, security or rate limits; uploading unlawful, infringing or abusive content; or interfering with the platform's operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including our reports, analyses, text, design and branding, is owned by CARTER CONSULTING or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the content for your own investment research. You retain ownership of content you submit (such as comments), and grant us a licence to host and display it as part of operating the Service.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Catalyst Ventures, CARTER CONSULTING, its operators, owners, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, or profits; or business interruption) arising in any way out of the use of this site or the information contained within it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction. As a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings there where the law allows.
14. Changes to these Terms
Catalyst Ventures reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
